Kate Hudson Shoots, Misses, Rebounds!

Wow, Kate Hudson! The turnover in your Department of Boyfriends from Texas sure is mighty quick. Having ducked engagement rumors and ditched the emotionally fragile Owen Wilson, Hudson has now begun a "passionate affair" with Wilson's pal and seven-time Tour de France winner, Lance Armstrong. According to the Daily Mail the two just spent a romantic weekend together in Austin.

Armstrong's last long-term relationship was with another of Owen Wilson's Texas exes, Sheryl Crow.

Or wait -- this isn't one of those Jack Nicholson/Warren Beatty "let's sleep with a bunch of the same women in order to sublimate our attraction to each other" contests, is it?

"Hudson started dating Armstrong after sparks flew at a private New York dinner party. The source said: “They have known each other for a while and Lance is one of Owen’s good friends. “When Kate was with Owen, she got to know Lance really well but they hooked up again recently at a dinner party thrown by a mutual friend and that’s when the romance began. They have both been keeping it very quiet.”"

Normally I'd say that's a terrific way to make sure your ex-boyfriend's heart stays good and broken: start sleeping with his best friend. But maybe Owen and Lance have spiritually evolved beyond petty emotions like jealousy and revenge. Either that or it's every man for himself when it comes to Kate Hudson's affections.
