A-List Awards Were...

Am I the only person who watched Bravo's first ever A-List Awards?

Well there were at least three of us. I had two house guests that I forced to watch it too.

Let me start by saying that I looooooooooooove Bravo and I have a particular passion for Bravo Reality tv. I'm also a low grade foodie, so I was pretty excited to watch this award show - no matter how much my husband made fun of me for setting up my DVR to record it.

Fortunately, the aforementioned husband fell asleep in his chair and I got to watch it live.

Yet looking back I have no idea why I felt fortunate. It was really boring. The host, Kathy Griffin, changed clothes 30 or 40 times in 90 minutes and it was pretty much your typical awards show. The awards themselves were slightly different. I liked the fact that they gave out awards for food and fashion. There was an award for Best Butt and while that is different and I appreciated all of the hot man ass, I guess I was looking forward to Bravo show awards... like maybe Drama King or Queen on a Bravo show. They were different but not different enough to blow my mind.

(Seriously, Tila Tequila? Is that her given name?)

Kathy Griffin was Kathy Griffin. She was exactly what you would expect her to be. If you love her you would have liked the show, if you hate her you would have loathed the show. I think she is okay and so I thought the whole A-List Awards thing was totally forgettable.

Or maybe I was just grumpy because I couldn't fast forward through the commercials.

I didn't just watch it. I tivoed. I love Kathy Griffin. I think she is hysterical.

Oh no, I watched it. I too have a love for everything Bravo puts on the air.

I thought it was OK. I did love Kathy Griffin as the host and her opening monologue. And her forcing Tom Collichio to cook!

But I lost respect when they gave TILA TEQUILA an award!

I tivo'd it too, but didn't watch it all. I was disappointed the awards weren't all about the BRAVO shows.

I can't believe that I missed this! I love Christian Siriano. Tila Tequila...wow. That is all I can say. She who claims that she was instrumental in legalizing gay marriage in CA. Get a grip please.

I adore Kathy Griffin. The only part of the show I saw was her rolling her eyes at Tila Tequila. She's fabulous. (Kathy, not that weird little troll Tila.)
