Amy Winehouse Engages in Fisticuffs

Funny. When I started the subject line for this post, I accidentally wrote "Amy Wincehouse." That's actually a pretty decent Freudian slip, no?

Anyway, our girl Amy was kickin' ass and takin' names at the Glastonbury festival over the weekend. Or something like that.

Near the end of her performance, Winehouse stepped down into the area between the crush barrier and the stage and sang "Rehab" up close and personal to the throng of fans. What happened next isn't totally clear. Some reports say that a fan tried to grab Winehouse's hair; other says that someone tried to grope her chest. Still, some aren't sure that anything improper happened. In any case, Winehouse shoved her elbow into the crowd and then threw a few punches.

Celebitchy has video, which doesn't really solve any mysteries. If someone did grab at her, I totally can't blame her for lashing out. I would (and have) done the exact same thing.

However, if you are the dude who got beat up by 85-pound, crack-smoking Amy Winehouse, keep that to yourself. Really not something to brag about.
