Metallica Can't Handle Criticism

Confession: I used to be a huge Metallica fan. We're talking 18 years ago. (*Ohmygod I'm old.) I accepted "The Black Album" and I even bought "Load". Then I listened to "Load" one time and I was through with Metallica. Let's me honest. They've been pretty terrible for a really long time and no one is sure why high school (okay, probably Jr High) kids are still buying their music.

But now they have gone beyond all reason. They have become CENSORS.

After a listening party held in London for journalists, The Quietus wrote a piece on the album (a mildly favorable review from what I understand) and then Metallica's people had it expunged.

I've been saying this for years, but if Cliff Burton was alive to witness this crap he would kick each and every one of their pansy asses.

Dear Metallica - censorship is not very metal. We're these guys against the PMRC? I hope you are ashamed of yourself.
