But Really, Who HASN'T Been Tasered at a Quality Inn?
So...Zachary Ty Bryan, best-known for his role as the oldest brother on Home Improvement, is suing Choice Hotels International after they tasered him in a hotel lobby last April. They effing tasered him! Remember that next time you think about demanding extra towels.
In the most obvious case of "hmmm, I think there's a little more to this story, Sherlock" ever, Zachery claims he was staying at a Quality Inn in San Diego with his wife. The room was in his wife's name, so after a late-run across the street for some Gatorade, the hotel wouldn't let him back in. Or call his wife to confirm that he did indeed have a room there. And then an off-duty manager "came out of nowhere" and repeatedly tasered Zachery's neck. The cops were called, but no charges were filed against anyone at the time.
Now he's suing the hotel chain for $25,000.
The hotel claims that Zachery was out of control, went nuts on the staff and that tasering him was their only safe way to control the situation. They also suggest that there just may have been a little bit of alcohol involved. YOU DON'T SAY. HUH.

That title made me guffaw.
How embarrassing for me.

There's something inherently funny about being tasered. There may not be anything funnier than a former child star being tasered.

OK, but seriously, when did hotel managers get to start carrying tasers? Because I want one.
