Call Girl Ashley Dupre was worried that Girls Gone Wild tarnished her image
Everybody remembers Ashley Dupre, right? The "aspiring singer" who hoped to achieve songstress fame by blowing her way through the little black book of New York's elite as a high-priced hooker call girl? She's in the news again - just in the nick of time as the plays for her song on her Myspace page have dropped to pre-Spitzer-scandal lows!
Dupre finally dropped her lawsuit against Girls Gone Wild perv Joe Francis. Back when the scandal broke, Francis went through the GGW archives and found footage of Dupre getting her skank on; Dupre later claimed that Francis and GGW tarnished her image and used her name and likeness for profit and that she was tricked into giving her consent. How could GGW have possibly tarnished the fledgling sex brand of a high-priced hooker? Seriously?
Unfortunately for Dupre, Francis had footage of her consent, in which she could barely contain her eagerness to trade her self-respect for a modicum of GGW "fame." In the footage Dupre provides her driver's license and gives consent on camera.
Her lawyer stated: "Ms. Dupré wants to eliminate all negativity from her life and focus on the positive. She has prospects for many exciting new projects and is looking forward to starting a new chapter."
Francis delivered the slam heard around the world: "The filing of the lawsuit was a serious lapse of judgment on her part. I never did understand how I could possibly damage the reputation of a hooker ..."
'Nuff said.

You know, there are certain things I'll never understand like toe socks or people who used to sell their vagina blaming a tarnished image on anyone but themselves.
