"Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog": Okay, So I'm Kind Of Obsessed
NOTE: Updates abound below, and will continue as needed (or until I'm just plain exhausted)!
Show of hands: how many of you already know all the words to every single song on the "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" Soundtrack? Anyone?
No? Just me?
Balls.
Well if you aren't quite that obsessed yet you damn well should be, pilgrim. And so, to that end, allow me to lay on you the fruits of my torment unrelenting fixation, otherwise known as Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Dr. Horrible But Were Afraid To Ask Because People Might Think You're An Obsessive-Compulsive Nutjob Or Something.
Yessss mah preshus, proceed with caution. And be afraid. Be VERY afraid.
STEP !: First, please, for the love of god and all that is right in the world, buy the damn 3-Act series for less than $4.00 on iTunes. Don't make me have to beat you and stuff. If you require a brief overview of what you're getting yourself into before jumping headlong into downloading (coughPUSSYcough), skim this MTV news piece. Or just trust me on this one and DO MY BIDDING ALREADY. sheesh.
UPDATE: You can watch the full first Act free on Hulu here!
OKAY! Once you've downloaded and watched the series (headpats), proceed to STEP 2 below.

The cast & creators of Dr. Horrible at Comic Con, being all awesome and stuff
STEP 2: INDOCRINATION. Ahh yes, now here's the booty of my obsessiveness: a virtual compendium of everything I've read/seen in the past week on Dr. Horrible that's been worth reading/seeing. I'll try to keep adding to and updating this as time moves forward, and as I come across good Dr. Horrible-related stuff.

- And finally, A bunch more press -- some worth a look-see and some not, but a resource for the truly obsessed for sure.
I expect more video to roll in shortly-- hopefully a full video of the Comic Con panel -- and I'll update as that becomes available.
Wait, why are you looking at me like that? THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH LOVE.

I was cracking up over your tweets today! I lurve me some Dr. Horrible. I wish I could have been at Comic Con.

Yes, I love Dr. Horrible. I was watching it every morning at BlogHer as I got ready, humming along with each song.
And I'm insanely jealous that my husband is at Comic-Con right now, with a press badge, and is attending the Fox party tonight, and then attending a party with NPH tomorrow night. Yeah, srsly.
So if he gets a chance, and there's a question you want him to ask, let me know. I'll see if I can get him to add it to his list of questions. ("Can I lick you, NPH?" will probably not fly, though.)

Christina - Well, I'm working on *trying* to get an interview with Joss Whedon, but oh god, I'd love to fly some questions by NPH.
So, you know, if your husband wanted to slip Joss OR NPH my email (sweetney AT sweetney.com), or could get me theirs, or could just somehow direct them to this post so they could read my shameless groveling (HI!) and my being, like, the biggest geek in the universe over their work (HI!), I'd be eternally grateful.
God I'm a dork.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this post. I couldn't go to comicon this year (stupid, stupid full hotel rooms), and I'm so happy I got to see these videos!!

We are complete whedon dorks over at Case Melee. My husband called me yesterday to tell me "THEY'RE DOING A MUSICAL COMMENTARY ON THE DVD."

Thanks so much for these links!! Love Dr. Horrible!! And some of these I had not seen/tracked down yet.
So sad I am not in San Diego this weekend.

You should have SEEN the frenzy at my house when someone sent us the Dr. Horrible link. We are such utter Whedonphiles, and the entire show was so awesome. Also, I may or may not have the World's Biggest Crush on Nathan Fillion, so... you know, that was a factor.
I can't wait for the DVDs (and the musical commentary!). I am desperately hoping for a sequel. And in the meantime, there will be Dollhouse, and it will be good.

This probably isn't the place to admit that I've never watched "Buffy".
That being said, I heart Dr. Horrible.
(Is it wrong that I spent most of my day at work converting the songs into .mp3's so I can listen to them sans video ALL THE DAMN TIME?)
NPH, will you marry me?

God, someone please explain to me why I only found this post today?!
Oh wait. Maybe it's because I've been too busy re-watching Dr. Horrible every chance I get.
I didn't even know that NPH could sing. I loved every second of all three acts. I can't seem to stop singing "Brand New Day". I am a little scared by my obsession. But at least now I know I'm not alone.
