BREAKING NEWS: MamaPop Alum Jen Lancaster On Today's Oprah!
OMG YOU GUYS.
Dear friend of MamaPop and former MamaPop contributing writer Jen Lancaster is going to be on today's Oprah (YES! I just said OPRAH! SQUEE!) in a follow-up to the big puppy mill episode from last season. Inside sources report that Jen will be featured on a remote feed from her home with her dog Maisy. Our sources also confirm that she will KICK SOME SERIOUS ASS.
For those of you that don't yet know Jen: though indeed her finest hour may have been spent writing here on MamaPop (snorfle), she's the author of many fine books, including her most recent tome Such a Pretty Fat: One Narcissist's Quest To Discover if Her Life Makes Her Ass LookBig, Or Why Pie is Not The Answer, which was preceded by the equally awesome Bright Lights, Big Ass: A Self-Indulgent, Surly, Ex-Sorority Girl's Guide to Why it Often Sucks in the City, or Who are These Idiots and Why Do They All Live Next Door to Me? *AND* Bitter is the New Black: Confessions of a Condescending, Egomaniacal, Self-Centered Smartass, Or, Why You Should Never Carry A Prada Bag to the Unemployment Office (what can she say, the girl is down with the long titles).
She also has a hilarious blog, Jennsylvania, which you so totally should be reading if you aren't already.
