Gretchen and Danny Bonaduce Finalize Divorce

I guess that means no more Breaking Bonaduce.  Oh come on, I am totally not the only person who watched that show.  I love VH1 celeb reality.  I guess I still have My Fair Brady's Adrienne Curry and Christopher Knight and Scott Baio's show with whoever the hell he married.  Those couples are totally staying together, even if the Bonaduces broke my heart.  They give me reason to hope in the institution of celebrity reality marriage.  Them and the bachelorette Trista whatever her name is.

You kind of have to give Gretchen credit for staying with Danny for nearly 18 years.  They married the first night they met and she saw him threw drug addiction, infidelity, canceled TV shows, and I'm sure much, much more.

But she is being rewarded for it.  Handsomely.  $16,000 a month handsomely.

According to court documents Gretchen is keeping the house and all of the contents, but Danny is still paying the mortgage.  He doesn't even get to keep the '08 Ford pickup.  Everything else is being split in half, including bank accounts and frequent flier miles.  They will maintain joint custody of their two children.

Although Gretchen is retaining creative control of their joint projects, there may just be another Danny Bonaduce reality show after all.  Danny is keeping the rights to sell a show called, "the Next Mrs. Bonaduce."

I'm totally ashamed to admit I will absolutely watch that.

Obviously, except for what was on the reality show.. we don't know all the details.. but I don't think anyone can say she didn't try earnestly.

It is with great sorrow that I bid farewell to my absolute all-time favorite celebrity trainwreck. The disgusting antics of the creepy boorish husband! The strangely calm, affect-less uber-botoxed reactions of the wife!

I'm sobbing that this is no more. SOBBING!

God, I remember these two reality show mainstays back when they were on TLC's A Baby Story. (Yes, they totally were on A Baby Story. TLC made them seem totally normal too. The TLC editing department may or may not be staffed by magical fairies.)

I love CelebReality on Vh1. The other night I watched Celebrity Rehab while drinking a glass (okay glasses) of wine. Probably morally wrong but enjoyable nonetheless.
