NEW Star Trek Movie Trailer SQUEE!
Geeks rejoice, the new trailer has arrived!
If I were a dude, I'd totally have a boner right now.
ETA: io9 has a nifty shot-by-shot synopsis of the above trailer (warning: SPOILERS!)

Looking more and more interesting. Can they reinvent Trek? I hope so for my own entertainment.

I'm too much of a geek because i've already counted at least three ways they've messed it up just in the trailer. Shoot me now..
36 weeks pregnant with twins makes one cranky.

Ravenlynne---yeah, I'm not looking forward to where they're going with Spock, from what I saw in the trailer. Enterprise was six ways wrong when it came to Vulcans; looks like they haven't learned.

I'm a big geek who could care less about the changes they've made history-wise (sometimes, it's what you have to do to reinvent, hence, y'know, the REINVENTING) but I really, really hope that those nifty-looking space battle sequences have the you-are-there, genuine thrill and COOLNESS of Serenity rather than the craptastic, boring dullness that is all George Lucas can come up with nowadays. I want the good old-fashioned "Whoa!" that we used to get...

Yowza. That is awesome. Now I have to sit here to let some things subside. Can't walk around the office with this thing.
