Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart...You Can Thank Me Later
I never get to watch Martha Stewart, despite being a pretty big fan of her (and even though my crafting skills are nil), but I know that she always has interesting guests on. Yesterday's special guest was Snoop Dogg. He and Martha made mashed potatoes.
Fo shizzle.
Snoop and Martha met at David Letterman's show and hit it off immediately. They'd been emailing for weeks and Snoop finally had some time in his schedule to visit Martha. She introduced him to the KitchenAid stand mixer and he taught Martha and her audience Snoop-guistics, which was supposed to be funny but was just kind of uncomfortable.
Anyway, the mashed potatoes looked delicious, but Snoop decided to add a special ingredient: cognac. I don't think they tasted his version, but I'm seriously tempted to try it.
Videos are below. The best moment in video #1 is around 3:32, when Martha pretends she doesn't know what a shank is. As far as I know, Martha has done way more hard time than Snoop, who has only spent a night or two in jail here and there.

Do you think she's really that naive, or does it just make for good television?
I found her almost unwatchable. That uncomfortable laugh is just .... I don't know... eeesh....
And Snoop has the worst advice of the century.
Those mashed potatoes look delicious though.

I am laughing so hard at work that I have just been "shushed" by a neighbor.

I watched the episode, years ago, with P. Diddy/Puff Daddy/Sean Combs/whatever... They were making eggrolls and Diddy's hands were naturally assuming the position used to roll something else entirely. He verbally acknowledged that the motions were strikingly similar to another activity, but Martha just played stupid. I, however, laughed out loud for 20 minutes.

My fangirl ferver for Martha Stewart pretty much rivals that of a 13 year old girl for Edward the vampire.
Except I would never throw an elbow to get closer to her, she would not approve.

I'm not really a fan of Snoop Dog or Martha (though I do like her magazine), but I found that hilarious!
