Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart...You Can Thank Me Later

20081118snoopdogonmartha

I never get to watch Martha Stewart, despite being a pretty big fan of her (and even though my crafting skills are nil), but I know that she always has interesting guests on. Yesterday's special guest was Snoop Dogg. He and Martha made mashed potatoes.

Fo shizzle.

Snoop and Martha met at David Letterman's show and hit it off immediately. They'd been emailing for weeks and Snoop finally had some time in his schedule to visit Martha. She introduced him to the KitchenAid stand mixer and he taught Martha and her audience Snoop-guistics, which was supposed to be funny but was just kind of uncomfortable.

Anyway, the mashed potatoes looked delicious, but Snoop decided to add a special ingredient: cognac. I don't think they tasted his version, but I'm seriously tempted to try it.

Videos are below. The best moment in video #1 is around 3:32, when Martha pretends she doesn't know what a shank is. As far as I know, Martha has done way more hard time than Snoop, who has only spent a night or two in jail here and there.
