Friday Eye Candy: Gossip Girl Edition

I have a new crush. And because I very clearly have cougar issues - as evidenced by my other crush, the one on a 17 year old vampire - this crush is of the Young Adult persuasion. (You have to capitalize 'Young Adult,' because it's - what do you call it? - a genre. Also, if I caps it, it makes me feel less cougar-y. Because if you are crushing on characters in a genre, you are not necessarily cougarish. Just well-versed in the culture. And a dork.)

Well, hello, Chuck Bass!

Yep, I am crushing on Chuck Bass. HARD. I mean, seriously: the cravats? the moody glare? the scorchingly sexy self-destructive streak? NOM NOM NOM.

Actually, I'm kinda crushing on all of Gossip Girl.

I mean seriously, what's not to crush?

Dan Humphrey is no Chuck Bass, but he is adorable in a sweet, dependable, good-guy kinda way.

Nate = meh, but still. Hot meh.

Rufus Humphrey. Possibly the hottest dad to ever hit a primetime YA serial. (Because, seriously, Peter Gallagher? Of the O.C? Had too many eyebrows.)

I may even have a little crush on Blair Waldorf. MAYBE.

Oh Chuck all the way. He manages to combine strangely metrosexual behavior with snark and then adds a twist of that wounded puppy thing. He makes me feel like a dirty old woman big time. Luckily the actor is like 21. I think.

I too would do Blair. Alas.

I was so relieved when I started watching the series last year to discover most of the actors/actresses are over 21 (except for Little J)...made it ok to have such huge crushes on them all.
