Britney Spears Wants to Take Her Kids On The Road with the "Circus" - What's the Big Deal?

According to gossip columns everywhere, Britney's upcoming Circus tour hangs in the balance, as she has reportedly threatened to cancel it if she can't bring Jayden and Sean-Preston with her. So what's the big deal? I mean, artists take their kids on the road all the time, especially when they're young. Well, take it up with KFed.

Brit's is requesting that the boys divide their time between New Jersey, New Orleans and Los Angeles for the duration of the tour so that she may be with them. However KFed and his lawyers  are not really jazzed about this idea, although Britney has offered to pay KFed $4,000 a week and put him up in accommodations nearby so that they may continue their 50/50 custody share during the tour.

I dunno, a fat stipend like that plus free accommodations seem to make for a pretty sweet deal to me, but then again I'm a broke-ass college student and make NOT NEARLY as much money as I would if I were  a washed-up backup dancer and professional D-lister. So, I dunno, maybe it's not fair of Britney to ask Kevin to put his, uh, career on hold for her. *snort* *cough* Ahem.

KFed and his attorneys haven't made any indication why they're not happy with the offer, but I have to wonder if they're not simply holding out for more money. Look, Kev, honey: you pretty much live on alimony, right? You're certainly not living off your album sales. The way I see it, you're being offered a raise and an expense-paid trip around the U.S. Qual es tu problemo, bub?

I also think that Britney's offer, and the fact that she will not go on tour if it isn't accepted, are huge indicators that she is serious about being a good parent, and that this I've-got-my-act-together thing isn't, well, an act. I know it was touch and go there, what with the midnight joyrides and the partying and the beaver flashes. But she's clearly gotten the help she needed in the last year, regained her custody rights, and it's clear her boys mean the world to her.

So, what do you think? Am I totally wrong here to think KFed is being unreasonable? Is it a bad idea for stars to take their kids on the road with them? And is KFed really more talented than I'm giving him credit for?

Just kidding on that last one.

If I were in Kevin's position, I'd agree to follow the tour with the boys faster than you can say po-po-zao.

I read an article about this earlier today and thought K-Fed was after her money and leveraging the kids to get it before I even saw this post.

Maybe he thinks it's not in the best interest of the kids to live on a tour bus? I don't know, I used think K Fed was just a money grubbing ass, but lately he has kinda been the one to hold those kids together.
