Friday Eye Candy: LOMGST! Edition

Lost is over for this year, and I have very serious doubts as to whether I will survive. It seems the least I can do, to compile a little collection of Lost hotness to tide us over...

(Warning: I have not included all the hotness. The Lost cup runs over with hotness, and these virtual pages cannot contain it. So I've just made my top five pics.)

Sawyer. Sawyer is always hot, but this was his year. He made jumpsuits and Dharma domesticity hot.

Daniel Faraday. The Physics of Hot.

Richard Alpert. As someone said on our Lost live chat thread last night (I can't remember who, and no, I am not wading through all 423 comments to find out), I would bang him like a screen door in a Texas hurricane. WORD.

Miles. I Hear Dead People hot.

Benjamin Linus. This maybe seems an unusual choice for an 'eye candy' column, but I've always maintained that FEC is dedicated to the celebration of awesome in all its forms. And if there is a character on Lost - nay, on television - who is more awesome that Ben Linus, I defy you to name them.

 

Bonus Candy: Jacob. Seriously: who knew that the creepy guy in the cabin would turn out to be so creepily lickable?

Honorable mentions: young Eloise, Juliet. I would also have included Sayid - especially since he might be dead - but I think that his (and Jin's, for that matter) hotness goes without saying.

In other news, it hardly spoils the finale that you've merely seen him. That's a minor point quite frankly, given the expansive WHAT THE FUCK of the episode. Relative to the content of the episode? This is picking nits, frankly.

I JUST got started on Season 1 of Lost, in an attempt to get through all five seasons before the start of season 6 (I KNOW!!... where have I BEEN all this time??)

That said, the spoiler isn't even a spoiler. Even I knew that Jacob would be eye-candy. Who ISN'T on this show? (besides, you know, the people who aren't. Sorry Hurley)

And yeah - we're two days gone now. It's not a spoiler if it references a past episode. Otherwise, you know, there are people out there who haven't watched Lost yet at all, and I've just spoiled for them the fact that there's a character named Sawyer.

Yeah, I just watched the finale last night* (I SAW THE WHOLE STATUE!) and I stayed away from all of my friends' Facebook statuses, all Tweets from people who tweet about LOST (I'm looking at you Sweetney and HBM!) and all Mamapop posts that said anything even vaguely LOST-ish. The internets don't revolve around me and other people should be allowed to OMGLOST!!! as much as they damn well please.

Also? THANK YOU for not including the Jack in this list.

*I was in Disney World when it aired and I love me some LOST, but I was paying for the parks and I just couldn't rationalize the... Okay, yes, I'm still broken up that I couldn't watch it live. But, I'm trying to move past it. Slowly. With rum. And cake.
