Things that Make You Go, "Whoa!"

It's a holiday here in the U.S., which means that there are many grills being fired up and many beers being consumed. Besides the obvious memorializing that takes place today for all of soldiers who gave their health and/or lives in war, it's not a day for heavy thinking. Er, well, at least not for me. So, I present to you some really cool pictures.

Believe it or not, these are all pictures taken right here on Earth, not Jupiter or Mars. The locations are spread from Antarctica to Spain to an island in the Indian Ocean. And it's just so weird to think about this stuff existing so relatively close to us, where we have seemingly normal things like cities and suburbs and oak trees and lawns.
