Tron: Legacy = Mind: Blown
I posted a bootleg of some of this footage almost a year ago, but now we have the full, glorious mint version, and wow. Just WOW.
And in IMAX. Squee!
The Tron: Legacy site Disney has up is basically just a placeholder page at this point, but that new trailer says 2010, and god I hope so. I feel like I've been waiting for this movie since... well, since 1982.

I saw it when it first came out and I couldn't believe it.
I mean, I'd been immersed in that world for what--an hour and a half? Yet when I walked out the theater there were trees and grass and the sky--they all seemed so ... weird.
And does anyone else think the BSG people totally stole that way of lighting the faces? Because their strangely lit faces made me think of Starbuck and Apollo.

I saw this online after coming home from Comic-Con last weekend and had me a big ol' SQUEE! as well. It may let me down when I see it next year, but for now... hee hee heeeeee.

I cannot tell a damn thing about this movie. I just see that Jeff Bridges is in it and I think: Doesn't it have to be good? How many bad movies has he been in? Vastly smaller percentage than almost any other actor I can think of.
Yeah I LOVED Tron when I saw it. I guess I have to go rent the original and see if it holds up.
