Dr. Horrible Is a Gift That Keeps On Giving: The Guild's Music Video
Like anybody who only "discovers" things AFTER they catapult into the mainstream via a related national phenomenon, I discovered Felicia Day's hilarious web series The Guild only AFTER her appearance in Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.
If you haven't watched it yet, you should. Particularly if you're a gamer or love a gamer or even if you regularly enjoy taping "kick me" signs on the backs of gamers, like dude, gamers. Man.
Season One and Two are available at WatchtheGuild.com. Season Three debuts TODAY, but only on XBox. The rest of us have to wait until September 1st.
BUT! In anticipation of the new season, please to enjoy the cast's very first music video. Do You Wanna Date My Avatar, written by Felicia Day and Jed Whedon, with backup vocals and dancing by Maurissa "Groupie #3" Tancharoen. It's a veritable Dr. Horrible reunion show!
I will tell you right now, you're gonna be singing this one all day. And somebody is going to hear you and go, OMG U GAMER LOSER and probably steal your lunch money. Sorry about that.

Damn you Amy. I'm going to have this song stuck in my head all damn day.
On the upside, I am totally inspired for my next dress up outfit for the bedroom when the husband comes home so I guess it's not a total loss...

Amy, did you see the Dr. Horrible cakes at Cake Wrecks on Sunday? You must to check them out. I love the Guild as well, and saw in comments that several people were trying to come up with some Guild cakes.

Hoo boy! That was AWESOME. My older sister just recently introduced us to The Guild.
The rapping portion was the best part, I think :)
Also, I am the wife of a gamer. So, yeah. I think I should watch more of The Guild.
