So, the other week, Glee turned me into a lip-synching fool with the Beyonce tune "Single Ladies." This week, apparently, it's going to turn me into a giggly, squeeing Bon Jovi fan.
There are worse things, I suppose.

The blatant auto-tuning makes me kind of sad, but yes, EXCITING. This show makes me happy.

Let's face it though, this show could not exist without auto-tune. There's just no way to record that many songs in the limited amount of time they have to put out an episode and have them sound good.
There is another music editing tool (called Melodyne) that sounds more natural but takes a little more work on the part of the editor. If they used that, you'd never be able to tell that the voices had been altered. But, since the auto-tune sound is now considered a current "style" it's not likely they'll replace it with more advanced technology.
That said, I despise auto-tune but LOVE GLEE!

I am fairly certain I had a goofy smile plastered on my face the entire time I was watching the clip. I look forward to this show every week.

i don't think the auto-tune was EVER as obvious as it was in this one. SIGH.
but alas, i'm with you. i love this show to pieces. this past week's Queen song had me singing along with delight and mourning Freddie Mercury's death all over again.
Hooray for something DIFFERENT.

Dude. DUDE. That move that Nameless Football Jock #2 did was fucking AMAZING. I am so in love with this show I want to take it out behind the football stadium and get it pregnant.
