Gosselins Resolve Money Issue, Maybe
Well, Jon and Kate were told to settle their monetary issues, and it seems like they did. They were in court today to discuss who stole the cookie from the cookie jar, and all seems simpatico in Gosselin land. Or not. Who knows with those two?
Jon appeared in court while Kate did not. Jon has complied with a court order to return money missing from the couple's joint bank account – but Jon says Kate has yet to account for how she spent $33,000 in cash withdrawals.
Kate's attorney argued that that the amount in question accounted for only five percent of what was in dispute, and that a divorce arbitrator did not require her to break down the cash withdrawals.
The Judge had threatened to hold both of them in contempt, but sadly, did not. That would have been so awesome. I would love to see them both in jail. Can you jail people for being moronic? As a mom of a four year old, I'm thinking these two totally need a time out. What is it, one minute for every year of your age? 30 minutes seems too short. Let's make it days and hold them in 30 days of contempt.
They were ordered to continue in arbitration. I'm sure that will go well.
And in other weirdness, Jon's attorney withdrew, with no explanation. Jon's answer, "I'll just get another attorney. I have to." It would help if he stopped being a jackass and started following legal advice, but that is just a guess.

So can't the judge issue a gag order to make these two stop going to the press to air their dirty laundry?
