Gosselins Told To Go Away And Settle The Money Stuff

Jon and Kate Gosselin were in court yesterday to meet with their attorneys and to arbitrate the famous "who took the money" issue.  Except, nothing was done.  They got a new court date of October 26, 2009.  They were also told to work something out amicably.

I love it when judges do that.

The specifics of the order are after the jump.

Judge Tilson wants any money that's been taken out of the account inappropriately to be returned immediately.  Specifically, Jon has been ordered to return $180,000 immediately.  If Jon doesn't pony up the cash by Oct. 26, the judge will haul him back to face potential contempt charges. Kate, for her part, by the same date has to detail what expenses she's been spending money on.

He also told the Gosselins on Tuesday that he realizes they want their privacy, but the Oct. 26 hearing will be public.  Wahoo!  Maybe TLC can televise it!  Imagine the ratings for Jon and Kate Plus 8: The Divorce!

"The remaining sum of $55,000, which Ms. Gosselin used for household bills and expenses relating to the children, will be subject to further determination by the arbitrator at a later date," Kate's lawyer, Mark Momjian says in a statement out Tuesday.

"As difficult as this has been for me, I am pleased that the Court has ruled fairly on behalf of myself and my children. Now that this matter has been ruled on, I look forward to returning to private arbitration, as we have agreed to do, to resolve any remaining issues," Kate Gosselin adds.

Wait, wait, what planet does this judge live on that he told the Gosselins he knows they "want their privacy"? That made me laugh. If you want privacy, you don't televise your family's lives on national television, or go on the View and the Today show and Larry King to talk about your private affairs.

Last night this story was all over the news up here! The funniest thing was there was a woman who was talking about how she stopped Jon outside the courthouse for an autograph and a picture. Give me a break- why on earth would you want your picture taken with a creep like him? Especially right after he's leaving court for taking all the money out of their account!!!

He apparently has contacted Nutrisystem for an endorsement deal to lose his man-boobs & stubbor belly fat. He said he was going to lose it anyways, why not get paid...hmmm hmmm. Money hungry bastard.

I for one don't want to see him interupting my lovely TV shows (like House) next to Marie Osmond horking diet food for my weightloss pleasure.
