I Don't Give a Rat's Ass About Kate Hudson's Sex Life Do You?: A Poll

Every morning, while the maids are cleaning my house and my chef is preparing my favorite breakfast of tartines and café au lait, I like to peruse the online tabloids to see what all the other rich, famous people are up to. Usually I'll find an amusing story about Jon Gosselin to share at bridge, or a tragic bit about Lindsay Lohan that always reminds me to make sure the nanny is raising my kids right.

But today the story on the front page of every tabloid was about how much Kate Hudson loves sex. I don't really care about Kate Hudson's sex life, unless of course she's sleeping with my pool boy.

Kate is dating Alex Rodriguez, and according to a "pal" of Kate's, everything is just hunky-dory in the bedroom. "They love sex!" the paid informant pal said. "They talk about it all day. Kate gets graphic talking about his body, even to her parents." 

(Excuse me for a minute while I allow my lunch to come up.)

(Also, trying to imagine being Kate's son Ryder or one of Alex's kids and coming upon that quote someday in the future. Oh, here comes the rest of my lunch.)

I'm not sure why I'm supposed to care about Kate Hudson's sex life. Is this supposed to reassure me that all is right in the Kate/Alex romance so that I can stop worrying that Kate will die a lonely spinster? Is this Alex's way of getting ex-girlfriend Madonna's leather thong in a twist? Am I just bitter because their exposé just pushed the latest Jon Gosselin story to the bottom of the page?

Perhaps I'm alone in this. Maybe I'm just old fashioned, and I like wagging my craggy old finger at all the young'uns and their free love. Maybe the rest of the world is just jonesing for more, and feels a day without news about Kate Hudson's sex life makes for a cold, bereft existence.

90% of those tabliod covers could never be true. I mean, GRAPHIC DETAIL TO YOUR PARENTS!??! Not Normal. Oh wait, we are talking about Hollywood types aren't we.
