Lindsay Lohan's Dad Says She's An Active Addict And He Will Save Her

Oh Michael Lohan. Is there any low you won't sink to? In an interview, Michael Lohan has stated that Lindsay is addicted to prescription medication, and that he will be the one to get her clean. 

Whether or not this is true, the real point of this is that Michael Lohan is a scum-sucking bottom feeder who wants his scummy, horrid hands in all the cookie jars. Exploiting his daughter for his own fame yet again, he has now either fictionalized or (more likely) outed Lindsay as an active addict. Instead of, you know, actually getting her help, he runs to the media and blabs his mouth off about his troubled child.

Way to stay classy, Michael, YOU DOUCHE.

"I'm going to get her off the prescription drugs that she's on," Lohan told us in a candid interview. "I hate it when people talk about illegal drug abuse... because it's not just drinking and illegal drugs that kill you. Prescription drugs can destroy and kill a person and are sometimes harder to stop. Look at Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson."

Is there anything untrue about the quote? Other than the question of Lindsay's sobriety from drugs, which, let's face it, is a slippery slope on a good day, no there is not. However, if it IS true that Linds is popping pills, don't you think a good father would be working behind the scenes to get her the help she needs, instead of betraying her privacy all over the wide world of web? Oh that's right, we're talking about Michael fucking Lohan.

Lindsay was last seen at Fashion Week in Paris, where she was hawking her new line for Ungaro. She looked a hot mess. She looked old, frail, and spacey. She LOOKS like she's using. She LOOKS like she needs some serious help, like yesterday, What she doesn't need is her douchebaggy father airing her dirty laundry while she suffers. 

If Michael Lohan was worth the air he breathes, he would have quietly gotten his wreck of a daughter into treatment for her reported prescription drug abuse. The examples he gives of Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson are true. Prescription abuse is just as deadly as any other drug abuse. In that respect, Michael Lohan is exactly right.

Just as deadly, however, is neglect. And Mr. Lohan, SIR? You are the worst of the worst kind of neglectful parent. You put together a pretty show for the headlines about how you're going to swoop down on your white horse to save your daughter, while AT THE SAME TIME she is in Paris, looking like she could drop at any second. For shame.

The story of Lindsay Lohan is disastrous, but it's not over. Yet. But the last thing she needs right now is the involvement of her father. Michael? If you really wanted to help Lindsay, you'd shut your mouth and disappear. 

For shame.
