Free Pixies EP Available For Your Downloading Pleasure!
To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of their righteous album Doolittle -- which came out back in a long lost era of mine, one before I had a kid and a house and fine-line wrinkles, when I was still kind of cool and didn't give a damn how much fiber I was getting in my diet (sob) -- the Pixies have made available for download a free Live EP! REJOICE!
The free EP contains four live tracks from the band's October 16th show in Paris (the final stop on the European leg of their recent tour).
Go here to download! (Note: you have to enter your email address and they'll send you a download link).
PS: TWENTY FIVE YEARS. TWENTY-FUCKING-FIVE, PEOPLE. God, I'm so old.

I'm old too, sob. Doolittle is still one of my favorite albums. Yes, I still use the word album, even when it's on my ipod. :) It seems like only a few years ago I was listening to that tape and playing Nintendo with my ( now ex)punk rock (cheating) boyfriend: Ty (this was before I knew he was sexing it up with his ex). Now I'm having "everybody else knew, but no one wanted to tell you," flashbacks. Oh, my shattered innocence! Maybe I'll go write some angsty poems. Also, it was my tape we were listening to. I was the cool one.

I saw them on their last concert tour, a couple of months after birthing my third baby. I had to use my portable breast pump in the car on the way out of the jam-packed parking lot. Times had changed (but they were awesome).
