Mel Gibson and Jon Gosselin Have Something in Common
Looks like Mel Gibson is a dad for the eighth time at the fresh young age of 53. Mel's Russian musician girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva (a name that never gets easier to type), reportedly gave birth to a baby girl this past Friday.
After news broke last spring that Mel and Robyn, his wife of a gazillion years, were splitting up, it soon became public knowledge that Mel wasn't nursing the divorce wounds alone (oh, they never are). He and Oksana stepped out together and soon after confirmed her pregnancy. Due in December, the baby seems to have arrived early.
Although they will apparently raise this baby girl together, happily and stuff, there are no immediate plans to marry. Oksana recently made this statement, "Actually we have no plans to marry whatsoever. I haven't thought about it – we haven't spoken about it." Well, that's good, sweetheart, since he's still legally married. It's always refreshing when people wait until they're no longer married to one person to talk about marrying another.
The baby seems to be fine -- as well as can be expected with crazy Mel as her father, that is.
Who knew in terms of fathers of eight, I'd have an actual difficult time deciding who I can stand less: Mel Gibson or Jon Gosselin. Seriously, I'm not sure. I need a few more minutes to think that over.

The baby was early? As in 1950's,let's fudge the conception date so my soon to ex wife doesn't totally take me to the cleaners early? Maybe?

I totally agree with the "gag" comment above. So he's still too Catholic to wear a condom but not Catholic enough to have sex outside his marriage or get divorced. I will never be able to watch a Mel Gibson movie again. (Okay except for maybe the Scottish thing.)
