Tyra Banks, Please Step Away From The Fannypack
Tyra Banks, out shopping in NYC yesterday (Thursday):
That's just wrong, people. I'm sorry, but it is. In the immortal words of Hall & Oates: I can't go for that, no, no-can-do. [shudder]

Functional - sure. But this is one case where I am NOT willing to sacrifice fashion for function.

Oh no. nonononono. (also: nononono on the neon shoelaces from my 7th grade wish list)

I am going to step out right now in favor of the fanny pack as a hands-free device.
You can take that to mean that I think you should never touch one, or that it's helpful for keeping your hands free to do things with them.
But I would never wear one because of all the haters. Why, haters, why?

My hopefully-future-brother-in-law (read: my sister's boyfriend) is British; he calls is a Bum Bag. I think if they were called Bum Bags instead of a Fanny Pack, they'd be much more popular. We all have bums, but only old people have fannies.

Fanny packs are never ok. Even for top-model-fashiony-talk-show-divas. NEVAR OKAY!
