I have a bad feeling. Know why? Because I genuinely like Potential Fourth Wife Ana. And if I genuinely like Potential Fourth Wife Ana (PFWA), then it's only a matter of time before somebody does something stupid or crazy to drive her away. I'm looking at you, Nicki...and Joey...and Wanda...and Rhonda...and Alby...and Roman. Man, this crew is unstable when you think about it.
Barb and I need to have a talk about recognizing shitheads when you meet one. Because while Barb is cuddling Rhonda and talking some nonsense about adopting that jerk, I am cowering in fear of her evident evil, Nicki is getting manipulated (who knew that was possible), and Teenie is being told not to play boy sports because it will interfere with the menses. Ew! While I'm not in favor of Rhonda marrying some old dude at such a tender age, I really don't think she's cut out for the 'burbs.
Oh, yay. It's time for a trip to Juniper Creek. These always go well. With Joey in jail, Bill gets to sit it on the UEB proceedings...a good way to convince Roman and Alby to drop charges against Joey since nobody really wants the state involved. Nicki and Bill take advantage of the family reunion to settle things once and for all. But there never seems to be a once and for all in sight for the Henricksons, does there?
Yay! Big Love is back. I, personally, have been foaming at the mouth for the new season. Last week, we watched Barb attempt to recover from the shenanigans at the Mother of the Year award. Everyone helped in their own way: Bill and Don spied on Wendy, Nicki attempted a takeover of the first wife position but also sic'ed her mom and her Hummer on Wendy, Margie whimpered, Roman strong armed Joey into some shady deal with the UEB to avoid re-assigning Wanda to some prune and Joey got to take a look at Roman's "Bridal Registry" which contains Polaroids of pre-pubescent girls and their hands and feet which I guess serve as proof that their digits aren't webbed or something. Also, the dorky neighbors invited Bill and Barb over for a luau. This week, Barb seems to be recovering, which is good because things are looking to get even more chaotic.
