
Last month, Lady Gaga was forced to cancel her “Born this Way” world tour due to a worsening hip injury. Turns out the injury was a pretty serious labral tear to which I was all “OUUUCCHHH!” until I realized that’s part of your hip, not your lady parts. (But still, that’s gotta hurt.) The injury required Gaga to undergo surgery and comes with a pretty long convalescence period, wherein the patient should remain almost entirely prone or at least seated. Walking on stilt shoes made of baby seal bones or riding bareback on a bedazzled green ostrich is generally frowned upon by the medical establishment for people with this injury.
